* ALERT *

Alerts you with a tell type message when one of the users listed in your alert
list logs on or off.

The alert list is saved between logins.

If you type .alert without any parameter it will show you a list of people you 
are looking for.  If you want to erase your alert list, type .alert .

Every time you type .alert user user user, the names will be added if they 
don't already exist, and deleted it they do.

eg .alert livewire			/* add livewire to the alert list */
   .alert livewire phenol		/* remove livewire, and add phenol */
   .alert .				/* erases the list */
