The Farm House:


This place is central for the operation of an agrarian enterprise.  Any
non-agrarian would think that this has to be a high-tech operation but it
doesn't have to be.  

As you vaguely hear the morning weather report on the radio interrupted by 
"Lorsban" commercials you catch the smell of pancakes floating through the 
air.  You know that Grandpa is going to call for you soon so you decide to 
get up anyway.  Just as you are about dressed you hear a car crossing over 
the hill.  

The red-winged black birds are quiet for a moment until the car passes by 
the house.  Just as the birds start to sing again you start to think about 
your day ahead bailing hay.  

After you groan out loud you are shaken back to the reality of "The Twilight 
Zone."
