Every Wizard on the Twilight Zone will interpret these rules in their own 
unique way.  Some will be lax about them and others will take them to extremes.
Neither interpretation is wrong.  Simply accept the fact that some staff 
members will treat these rules differently.  If it comes down to your 
interpretation of the rules versus a Wizard's, the Wizard will win by default.

The only way this place can survive is with the help of the Wizards, so I urge
you to get to know their styles and work with them to help this place be even
friendlier and better.

 
         ** Statement of expected behavior at The Twilight Zone **
 
 1)   All behavior is restricted to what is acceptable to the people that
      are able to listen to what you say, whether it be shouts, echos, 
      regular speech, descriptions or personal information.
 
 2)   No harassment of any kind is acceptable, no matter the basis.  
 
 3)   Discrimination based on sexual orientation, religion, politics will NOT
      be tolerated.  There is a difference between discussion, and harassment.
 
 4)   Offensive language will not be tolerated.  The people around you 
      will decide if you've over-stepped what is acceptable. Please respect
      their requests in this area.
 
 5)   All users should attempt to settle their own differences to the best
      of their ability before asking for assitance from a Wiz.  That
      is a last measure to take.  Please make use of the commands that will
      assist in many areas of complaint, such as .gag, and .ignore. 
 
 6)   Do not ask Wizes for personal information (such as location) about 
      another user.  It will be absolutely refused.
  
 7)   Requests for promotion will be ignored.  Users who show the skills of
      a good candidate for promotion will stand out on their own without 
      asking to be promoted.  Requests will hinder more than help your 
      chances of being promoted.
 
 8)   Multiple accounts are not allowed, if you are found to have multiple
      accounts, all of them will be deleted.  If you make a mistake and log
      in incorrectly, please delete the account by using the .suicide command.
 
 9)   All users have equal access to every room that their rank supports, on
      a first come first serve basis.  Don't get posessive.

10)   Stalking, User/Wiz Abuse, Threats will not be tolerated.

11)   Public advertising is rude and will not be tolerated.  Public 
      advertising will include Message Boards, .say's, .shout's, .desc's, 
      .ex's etc... you get the idea.

12)   Triggers and Idling are annoying and obnoxious, please try not to use
      triggers, and do not keep yourself logged on with an idler (if you're not
      here, then don't be here).

13)   There is NO rule #13

14)   Most importantly, enjoy yourself and have fun!
 
This place, as all talkers, is policed by a group of dedicated individuals 
who work very hard to keep the environment pleasant.  Most of the wizards 
will allow some "nonsense", but don't press your luck.  It is not your right
 to be here, it is a privilege. Please treat it as such.

If you are having problems with a user, or a wiz, use the .pray command to 
call for help.  If no wizards are available, use .note to leave us any info
you can, and the problems will be handled.

If you want to read these again in the future, type ".view rules" without
the "'s of course.
